Where is this new Suncrest Town Mall? We're going to be camping at Coopers Rock end of the month, and need a place to pick up groceries.

The Suncrest Town Center is just off of 705 between Van Voorhis Rd. and the mileground. Not much there yet, just the Kroger store and Damon's Restaurant. They've had a lot of trouble with people backing out based on reports. They were supposed to have a theater there but once they built the new one at University Town Centre, companies considered the area at maximum capacity and backed out. They were also supposed to have a Kohl's and Home Depot there but those plans fell through as well. Here's an article from the DA talking about what is planned there. Hope this helps.

Lot of other construction there...several big boxes under way in STC.

What was the real surprise was to look over into the valley and see that Glen Adrian had begun about 300 condos going up on the old farm...
Looks like about 1500 could be built on the entire acreage...He and Mark told me several years ago that their plan was to build 2800 condos and they are doing in...here a 100...there a hundred...
What an enterprise!...

Those two people have done more for Morgantown than anyone else in its history...Mylan Puskar included..

Just out of curiosity, what are the big box stores under construction? By the last available published reports, they were planning on having smaller, speciality and more upscale places rather than the big box stores.

Sorry, Bailey...I don't know just yet...it was a maze to drive around that huge gas station and equipment...barriers everywhere...The planners have used a curved roadway there instead of a straight road course and the entire area is a giant construction zone...by fall I think most of it will be developed and everything looks the same...same color brick...nothing unique or standing out...for sure, it will service these hundreds of condo's going up on the other side of 705. It looked like 2 big boxes going up..I wasn't expecting to see all the dirt flying...wonder what happened to that indian burial ground?
