We are moving from Florida to Berkeley Springs soon. We will be in the area next week, but living in Woodstock, VA till we find a place to live in or around Berkeley Springs. My office will be just south of the town on rt 522. I will be all around Morgan County working.

We are wondering suggestions for the best or nice area to live in Morgan County/Berkeley Springs. We will be looking for a lease option to buy to begin with.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

What are you looking for? Rural property on the mountain? In town with some historic charm? Newer subdivision with less yard? Maybe something more in the valley along 522?

A little more info and we could certainly help!

We love the mountains, so that may be our 1st choice. Along 522 is convenient though to the office. Being in BS was also a thought.
Not sure we want the newer subdivisions as we would like some space.
3br+, 2baths+, basement, garage, some land.

We have even thought maybe we would lease with the option to buy.

So I guess it is hard to answer.

Then check the realestate listing for the area. Berkeley Springs is a great little town...Morgan County is a Great big County! When you see something of interest come tell us then I am sure we could answer your questions much better.

Berkeley Springs reminds me of a little quaint town for the flower children. Here is the link to the Morgan Messenger paper:

Can't go wrong with Berkeley Springs. Quaint town, slow pace, nice little downtown.
