Ok, just kinda of curious, what has everyone done or doing today on the 8th month, the 8th day, of 2008.
I'll start:
I created some Photo DVD's of Car shows I've been too. Finish the laundry, while the wife is at work, (I'm disable) straighten the house up a little and it's not even 10 am yet!!
hmmm i am sitting at work. planning to go get sushi tonight with my buddies, and go swimming and have a few cold ones. In my entire day...i assure you i will not see an olympic event lol.
packing my bags.. lots and lots of them.. for our move to West Virginia. Hoping the cosmic 8-8-08 karma helps me figure out how to fit an entire house into a 2 bedroom apartment..hmm...emmie meanie miney...
Wife and kids are in Colorado on vacation, so I'm going to do some painting tonight in my sons room.
I am going to Ralphies in Fairmont for lunch. Best kept BBQ secret around. The owners are from Dundalk/Baltimore and KNOW how to make BBQ right. They also have two types of crab soup, a white and a red, that are simply fantastic.
First time I went there I asked for a brisquet BBQ sandwich. She said "you want anything else 'hon?" Is said oh yeah- put some slaw on that puppy, 'hon..
She said "You're from Maryland aren't you?" and gave me a hug!
I used to work in Baltimore yeaaaars ago and you can tell the genuine Marylanders when you see them. (And we put slaw on our BBQ, NOT hotdogs, lol)
Packing up and going to our camp near Helvetia for the weekend. Taking the 4-wheelers along for a scenic ride through the mountains around Pickens and out Turkey Bone towards the falls below Elk River Resort. Packing a lunch and enjoying the day with husband and friends.

A co-worker and his friends and family heads up to a campsite up near Pickens. They ride from here (Lost Creek) directly to Pickens on their 4wheelers. I hear it's a blast to ride it.
Watched a guy put a mobility lift into my van...freedom!!!
