Just learned today that a scientist dug 30 feet down in New York and discovered copper wire from 100 years ago, proving that New York had a telephone communications system back then. A few weeks later, not to be outdone, a Los Angeles scientist dug down 60 feet and discovered copper wire, proving that LA had a Telephone communications system 100 years before New York. Bubba, a self proclaimed archeologist, dug down 90 feet in Ripley and found.......nothing.....concluding that West Virginia had gone wireless 300 years ago!!!
