Nah, just not satisfied with superficial assessments and I enjoy considering other peoples vision and, in general, thinking. Dislike that, the option to ignore is freely in your control.

Killed too many rabbits to think about eating them again. Might not be your brains why you didn't eat them, the nose knows they don't have much taste. My mom liked them in tomato sauce, French use a mustard sauce, but either way you look at it . . you're drowining them in ketchup and mustard. Killed a lot of fish too, but for some reason, I'm not tired of eating them just yet, except salmon, won't touch it, but that's another story.

Still digesting some of the stuff you wrote. Have a disagreement, but need to articulate that a little better.

A point I readily agree upon is seen in the American Indian, who by law, are given a staple each month, and perhaps excluding families owning casinos, they're often a sad lot on these reservations -- lacking incentive. For the record, I'm mostly familar with Apache, never met any eastern Indians. I know you can't blanket an entire race with an assessment, but the truth is, the best thing the American Indian could do for themselves is to wean their tribes from the tit of the Federal Government.

That template which doesn't work for the American Indian to be self-sufficient, doesn't work for our inner cities either, or anywhere else in this country . . last time I checked the words read United States of America. Give me a moment to recite it, need to check if the word "socialism" is in our pledge of allegiance, or if there's a sign on the door that says Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

No offense to Russians, but I've been to their country, and seen what socialism did to it. It created a ****hole, because like the American Indian, there's no incentive for the people. Socialism in theory is equality, but liquor is swallowed instead of reality, because under these systems some people live in palaces. Of course, Russian hillbillies, who might be laughed at by other Russians, seem to be a healthier lot with their traditions still intact.

Most people, if they were honest, would admit to needing a hand sometimes in life, granted, but these programs creating economic parasites ruin the incentive to take responsibility and make our lives better. Likewise, outsourcing jobs overseas ruins the incentive to pursue those careers here. When you look at a lot of problems in this country it comes down to the masses, which is worker class problems . . who don't seem to have many allies.

Finding my articulation, it's not about disliking cheap prices. Wal-Mart destroys jobs, by doing so, it destroys communities. That Wal-Mart is the #1 employer of many states is a sad assessment of our economy.

I rather enjoy the flavor of wild rabbit. Simmered German style with some hunter sauce of course..

But venison is our mainstay.. Mmmm.. Venison loin slow cooked on the spit then served over wild rice with some steamed veggies.. mmmmm......

Must agree, 3-Run and the tenderloin of the young deer is almost veal quality...over abundance of those critters... the insurance companies will be wanting a 'kill to reduce numbers again...I think every doe in Wv had twins this year...

This I will say:

#1: Wal-Mart; I will drive past one to buy from a Target, Safeway, Albertsons, etc. despite the latter three places being (slightly) more expensive. Costco: OTOH----------I can get into lots of trouble in one of those Side note: Costco is well known for caring for its employees (high wages, decent medical, etc) .

#2: Porn; I used to look at it more 30 years ago (I am age 50 now) but, to be frank, fake boobs are a major turnoff so the porn purveyers do not receive my business. I prefer my ladies 'pleasingly plump'----------thin ones, yuck.

#3: Drugs; aside from a little marijuana/hash, they and alcohol were never a big part of my life. Meth, etc. I steered clear of. Too: pot today has twice the THC (6% vs. 3%) 20+ years ago so I will not touch even it anymore. The last time I smoked herb was with a former classmate from my HS in Arlington, Va.---------while both of us were in California (1984).

Sam's Club
Subsidiary of Wal-Mart, accounts for 12%? to 22%? of Wal-Mart revenue.

Turnover of Wal-Mart employees within 1st year 70%?

Turnover of Costco employees withing 1st year 24%? And you're right, Costco pays about 42% higher wages.

I avoid Sam's Club as well due to it being part of Wal-Mart.

Pot is nothing special today either. I used to smoke it all the time in high school and my first year of college. But by my Sophomore year it really started to become less appealing. Let it be known that I never let it take over my life and quit or miss school or anything. But at 16 it was a great "experimenting" experience. I really do not see why it is illegal, I can see not being able to drive... ahhh getting off subject...

Anyway if I can go to Target I always do! The goods are usually made in the USA, are a little better quality, etc However, being a student, and working, sometimes Wal Mart is the only place open, or when you're down to $50 to last you for the week and you have to go grocery shopping and buy gas, etc sometimes you have to go to Wal Mart.

Sam's Club.... sadly is like my best friend right now, mainly because there is only ONE Costco in WV.

That's the point it all comes down to. As a consumer, it's hard to buy American, I know. Thanks for trying.

Call me a protectionist, but every dollar spent at Wal-Mart, et.al., is putting an American worker somewhere out of a job. Yeah, people have been saying that for 25+ years because it's not rocket science . . and it eventually comes home to roost with high unemployment and a lowered wage base.

adage : In economics, the pessimist is ultimately correct.
adage : Real estate never goes up, wages do.
