Heres a scam thats going around now in different parts of the country, I thought I would pass it on to ya'll... Heres how it works!!! You will get a letter from National Deed Service..
(The letter indicates that National Deed Service, Inc. will provide a copy of the property deed for a cost of $79.50. Unfortunately, many citizens do not realize that the deed can be obtained from the county clerk office at a cost of five cents per page if the self-service copier is used.
National Deed Service obtains the deeds from the clerk's office at five cents per page and derives a profit of more than $79 for each deed copy sold through their company.
"The public is misled by the letter,)
Is that from the lady banker in Nigeria...the one who was located in Seattle and busted by the FBI last month?
Cyber crime...the CJIS has a good handle on that here in Clarksburg..white-collar crime.
Just understaffed and looking for help...lot of cyber crime out there..
