R- From other threads my position remains- Obama has still failed to earn my vote. I'm not voting for someone because they're red, blue, purple, not even if they had purple mammaries.
TY for info

Gentlemen: one of the ugliest things on the earth is a 60 yr old hippy without a bra..and those milkbags hanging to the waist...as for McCain, HBO? same old oil company shill when you take off the wraps...His silence about them speaks worlds..."Drill...Drill...the Quasimoto of our day...seeking sanctuary in the untapped regions..What pisses me off about those regions is this...everybody is there drilling but us? We should be there too..
Palin has a history and successful record of taking on the 'Big Guys and winning...with McCains dementia, she might become a Harry Truman for our time...
The problem with our government GHO is the mob influence...and its global...been there since JFK...many of these congressmen and Senator's are tied to the mob...It's a very sophisticated network...and Obama is certainly one of them...just as Joe Kennedy was.

Heard joe lieberman defending her on NPR, but he was strained doing it which made me wonder if he was trying to convince himself of something. He's all 3 parties lately, not that I've gotten behind him as a fan, but his position on most things I find downright strange. Maybe she doesn't need his help.
I think the people who have a problem with Palin primarily in the icky family laundry category they're dragging on a public stage are two sources- those who are right to life, and if she's wagged a finger right along with them with self righteous poop, she's now got the stench of hypocrisy. Pro lifers having been the recipients of said finger wagging for decades... and their ire is rather self explanatory IMO.
No finger wagging of righteous right imposing it's religion on others? I wouldn't hold her daughters indiscretions against her personally. I have no clue what the family circumstances are and am in no position to judge, so if y'all haven't noticed I've avoided the subject altogether. I really hate these personal attacks at any candidates family because it only distracts (as it's intended to do) away from the real issues. National enquirer mentality of this country eats it up like a bowl of sugar.
I do find it comical how fixated people are on relative inexperience of Obama (as if a pimply faced teen), yet Palin has less, and McCain has one foot on a banana peel. Folks see what they want, I guess. One thing I like about palin is that she fought for her state enough to make sure a fair deal was being cut on their behalf. WV'rs already know what it is to be shortshrifted and suffer economically for a century over it. Thing is, McCain isn't on that same page with her, and listening to RNC, neither are they.

Biased political reporting - Olbermann and Matthews bounced as political anchors
" But NBC News journalists, who often appear on the cable channel, did see a problem, arguing behind the scenes that MSNBC's move to the left -- which includes a new show, debuting tonight, for Air America radio host Rachel Maddow -- was tarnishing their reputation for fairness. Tom Brokaw, the interim host of " Meet the Press," said that at times Olbermann and Matthews went too far.
MSNBC Drops Olbermann, Matthews as News Anchors
"After months of complaints that their shows are biased, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews will no longer anchor political programming for the 24-hour cable news channel MSNBC, the network confirmed Sunday night. .....
Even Fox News, which has dominated cable news with a combination of edgy reporting and largely conservative commentators such as Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly and Neil Cavuto, does not ask those distinctive and popular figures to anchor their political news coverage.

Palin - high moral ground?????? come on, her oldest daughter is having a shotgun wedding - yes she is keeping the child - but if real family values were taught she would no be having the baby in the first place

If you have kids, you realize that sometimes, despite your best efforts, they don't listen to what you say.
I think a better comment on Ms. Palin's morals is the decision not to abort her youngest child, despite knowing that the baby had Down's Syndrome.
