Would like to hear from someone that lives in this area. Would it be better to live in this town or to live in Clarksburg if one worked for Aurora Flight Systems as an engineer? Does anyone know of anybody that works for Aurora Flight Systems and is this a good company with few lay-offs in the companies history? Also, would like information on Emmanuel Christian School if anybody has any information. Does Clarkburg offer more in shopping and living with better neighboorhoods? Thanks for any info...........

Have you perhaps made a typo in your heading?
You are looking for info on Bridgeport, WV (West Virginia), not Va., correct?

Have you looked at the post //www.city-data.com/forum/west-...-engineer.html

Oh wait, that was posted by you. Have you looked at the info there or did you not get the info you were looking for?

There's been a lot of discussion on the Clarksburg/Bridgeport area in the last couple months. You may want to do a search of the posts in this forum.

Default vec101.....

hope your not on the welcoming committee to this area.....may have just forgotten that I asked this question. Sometimes lots of things go on in a persons' life that will make them forget. Thanks for the help anyway. Will go back and look at past posts!

Didn't mean to sound harsh. Figured you had forgotten.
Do have to say though - sometimes it's frustrating to put the time into answering questions then the person never looks at the replies. Do see how easy it is to lose a question one has written however.

I used to live in the Morgantown area and intimately familiar with Bridgeport / Clarksburg, as I used to work there. I would suggest looking at housing in the Bridgeport area unless finances are a major concern. Bridgeport is much more affluent than Clarksburg. I am not suggesting that Clarksburg isn’t a “nice” area, but your family will likely be happier in Bridgeport. I am not too familiar with Aurora, but from the little that I know, it’s a quality company. I am familiar with Emmanuel Christian School and it has an excellent reputation. I also have a bit of “inside” information about housing in the Bridgeport area, so if you’re interested, please send me a message. Aside from that, welcome to the area and good luck.
