Hi All,
As you've probably already read, I'm coming out to see beautiful WV in a few weeks, any recommendations on where to stay or not to stay in Huntington and Charleston????? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In Huntington, I'd recommend the Pullman Plaza hotel or the Holiday Inn on 3rd Ave. In Charleston, you might try the Marriott or the Embassy Suites. Hope this helps.

You've got to be kidding.
It only has a 3 diamond rating from AAA. Pretty impressive for a 'chain' hotel, but...
The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs has a 5-diamond rating,
while the Bavarian Inn in Shepherdstown garners a 4-diamond rating.
Me thinks you need to get out more.

Well the Greenbrier is in a class of its own. And you need a fat checkbook. Charleston Marriott or Embassy are both nice and adjactent to the Town Center Mall.

In response to "stormes44 "
Me think you need to look at a map. Charletson and Huntington is where Lorann was interested in, and sorry but I really like Embassy Suites whether or not it only has a 3 star rating. I let myself choose what I like, not someone else. I'm a big boy I can think for myself Thanks though
