I am thinking (dreaming!) of moving back home to WV in mid-summer and living in the Panhandle & working in DC metro area. I was wondering if anyone had some input on the availability of legal secretarial jobs in D.C. area? Has that field bottomed out? Several years ago, before I left WV, the jobs were endless but the Washington Post doesn't seem to offer that many. Have there been many layoffs in the D.C. legal field? Meaning if they laid off attorneys, the support staff need would go down also.
