Used to eat pizza at Leoni's many moons ago. University Blvd / Riggs Rd area, near the Hechingers. Oh-and LOVED to eat at the Plain and Fancy donut shop.. Man that was the best.

The best pie I had in the Eastern Panhandle was from anybody that would deliver the darned thing to my outpost late some Friday nights, lol.

You are correct, the sign is still there and i don't know why.I know the owner and himself said business was bad and lost a lot of money.

I don't think that little shopping plaza is doing well. Is the coffee house open? Did it ever?

I lived behind Capital Plaza.

I love Pizza!! Some of my favorites in Berkeley Co. are Venice in Hedgesville, Roma's, Kings, and Jerry's. I haven't had Giovannis in awhile, but this thread has made me hungry and I might have to try them again.

Pizza Montese isn't bad, my favorite thing there is the salad. The take-out pizza is better than what is on the buffet, on Monday take out is only $4.99 for a large. I tried Sergios once when they opened and wasn't impressed at all, they only had about 2 different pizzas and the atmosphere was dead. It's a shame it didn't last, but Pizza Montese put them to shame and it was only a minute down the road. I feel bad for the owner.

Worst pizza is probably Rock Cliff or Dominos.

What about Bob's? Is it still around? Although I recall it for subs more than pizza, I still liked the pizza.

Now I am dating myself, does Ramone's still exist? They had good pie and outstanding hoagies/subs!
Used to be on Winchester Avenue across from Firestone and beside PPG Paint and Glass. Heck, that could be gone too the way Martinsburg shifts.

Rock Cliff Subs and Pizza was good too when Mike Myers used to own it years ago. Is that place still in business?

I believe Ramone's sold about 3 years ago or so.. Maybe more.

We used to get our special occasions at the bank catered by them. Good eats!
