My wife makes my pepperoni rolls using dough she prepares in her bread machine, pepperoni from the deli and pepperjack cheese.

Mmmm.. Great with a cold beer.

I usually put shredded mozarella right on top of the pepperoni, so it's "baked in". For a little spicier taste, try strips of Pepper Jack.

Most of the grocery stores up here carry Italian products from DeLallo in Jeannette; I'm thinking of trying some roasted peppers next time.

Both cheeses are good...variations just make them better...

As a person really has to work hard to make a mistake with a pepperoni bun...I see them in Portland, Oregon now and Ft. Lauderdale...they are becoming a part of America...and should.

The old Colisessano's had pic's of JFK...movie actors...Rocky Marciano and other notables..anybody could walk through the door on a weekend evening...
