Yeah my son will be going to the new High School instead of driving all the way to Hedgesville.

Mine too, except we are moving overseas this spring. My daughter goes to HHS and it pretty much blows.

Where does your son go now? I have a 6th grader at SMMS.

Yeah my son goes to Spring Mills. I have a daughter at HHS too and she has yet met a friend from our area so we are consistently running her to Hedgesville to visit or pick up her friends . Plus everytime she gets out early or whatever we have to truck all the way there. When she was in basketball it was the worst...picking her up everyday.

Are you or your spouse in the service and is that is what is taking you overseas?

Yes, Hedgesville is a trek. I am east of I-81 near Whitings neck. I was so glad when my daughter got her DL this year and now drives herself to school.

I am relocating to Switzerland to take a job with the UN. I lived in Europe for a time before I had kids, but this will be a huge culture shock to my middle schooler. (Older one will be in college stateside). I can NOT wait!
