I'm a big fan of Fenton Glass, especially the Canaan Valley series. I just got an email stating that Dirty Jobs, the Discovery Channel show starring Mike Rowe, will feature Fenton Glass in an episode scheduled to air Tuesday, November 10th, at 9pm.

Interesting! I am going to watch it. Both my brothers toured the place on a visit here awile back. I haven't yet but perhaps will.
It was a good segment, not the most hilarious out of all the Dirty Jobs seasons, but good.
Did I miss something? Not once did I hear Williamstown or West Virginia mentioned as the location of Fenton Art Glass.
Seems like something has changed with the show, or last night's show just wasn't up to par, compared to past seasons. A change in directors or writers, maybe?
The opening segment from Arkansas seemed rushed and dry on humor, but Mike has done poo so many times already....
They did a Canaan Valley series on Dirty Jobs? Would've loved to see that!
Sorry, I meant that Fenton has a Canaan Valley series of bowls, vases, etc.
I, too, was a bit disappointed in the show. I didn't hear Williamstown or West Virginia either, although for the first few minutes I wasn't watching the screen, and just heard the audio, so maybe there was a sign "Welcome to Williamstown" or something.
I wish they had shown more of the finished product, instead of just Mike's attempts to make something, I didn't see anything that would give the viewer an idea of just how beautiful their glass is. And I guess it's really hard to convey just how hot it must be in the factory.
If I recall, the opening shot was Mike on the street in front of the store, with the Fenton Art Glass sign on the front of the building. Mike says, to the effect, "If you want to know where the finest glass in America is made, it's right here.", then he starts walking to the front door.
I can't recall another segment where the location isn't mentioned numerous times throughout. The omission really has me wondering why.
