I just noticed that the Sweet Frog is taking over the small dollar store spot that was directly left of Martins. The sign on the door calls for a June grand opening. Can't wait!

Stormes you beat me to it. We here in Ranson have been hearing about this for the last 5 years. Do we actually have a date for when construction is to start? No we don't.

All this article is saying is that the 'reset' button has been pressed and the date has changed from May 2008 to now some time in 2014. I for one, won't do my happy dance until the ground is broken.

WTF? Movies / bowling / bar / games / grille? Does it also slice and dice and take out the garbage? Reminds me of the SNL fake ad for carpet shampoo / whip cream.

Anyway, hope it gets here someday so I can figure out what the heck it is. Especiallye thee grille.

Default Pizza! Pizza!

Someone rented out the out-parcel next to the old Jerry's subs (where Starbucks was supposed to go back in the day) and is building a Little Ceasers!

I drove by yesterday- they were working on the drive through and the interior of the restaurant. It looks like they have a long way to go before they open.

Anyway, that is good news. I hope the last remaining out-parcels in the strip plaza (the old Jerry's Subs location and the vacant store front next to Mattress Warehouse) are rented out as well. All though I won't hold my breath.

Well, that's better than nothing, I suppose. Seems like we have enough pizza / subs places in the vicinity though.

What I don't understand is why are there no (that I know of) BBQ places in the Charles Town / Ranson / Shepherdstown / Harpers Ferry area?? Red Hot & Blue, Famous Dave's, a mom&pop place, whatever, seems like we got nothin'.

Spunkydawg looks like you found something this area is lacking. Hey draw up a business plan, find some investors and open up a restaurant! (The old Jerry's Sub's location is vacant!)
