Hmmm... Re the movie theater / restaurant / bowling alley, I'll still believe it when ground is broken. Real ground, that is.

Good to hear that Charles Town and Ranson have some interesting plans though.

Default Golden Corral Not Coming To Potomac Towne Center

Back in 2009 they were thinking about opening next to Chick-fil-a. They changed their mind and decided to open in Martinsburg.

Folks, you might want to sit down before you read this...

California Tortilla is coming back to its Ranson location! Tentatively scheduled for early May.

Chips & queso & all-you-can-drink soda is really all I need out of life.

Confirmed. They are working on the interior of the store now. Interestingly the restaurant will be operated by different owners.

Also Lin's China Garden closed on Tuesday this past week. The chose not to renew the lease.

Three new restaurants are replacing three that have left the Towne Center. Subway restaurant is coming to the spot that was previously Lin's Chinese Garden.

California Tortilla is coming to the spot that previously held by California Tortilla and a foreign restaurant is coming to the spot vacated by Jerry's Subs.

Thx for the update, venture2000.

Subway, blech, just what we didn't need (just MHO, of course).

"Foreign restaurant" sounds generally promising, I'll definitely be checking that out.

I continue to be surprised that a BBQ place doesn't open up around here somewhere.

Caltort website - for Ranson, WV locale shows "Opening Soon"

Ranson | Best Burritos, Mexican Catering | California Tortilla

Drove by and believe I saw a table with umbrella set up, if I was looking at it from the correct angle. There's only so much one can see from the road as you pass by.
So looking forward to this

Fun Facts about the Ranson Owners
  • Viral has lived in West Virginia for 15 Years! His Favorite Burrito is the Honey Lime Burrito with Fresh Jalepeños.
I would love the honey lime burrito too but would have to give DH my jalepeños

Still checking CalTorts website for an opening date, still says "Coming Soon" and then I came across this:

I hope this comes true (crossing my fingers) for Ranson.

Frank Theatres CineBowl & Grille Opening May 2014. Route 9 & Oak Lee Drive
Ranson WV: The Marketplace at Potomac Towne Center - Retail Space For Lease - KLNB Retail
