Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew what was being built or if anything is in process to be built at the location below (not the new power plant)...

I apologize if I don't get the exact locations right as I am guessing.

It's not the new coal burning power plant that's being built, but a hill closer to Star City (maybe 1/2 way b/t Star city and the power plant) on the Maidsville WV side. I'd say the last month or so a hillside was cleared a zig zag path up the hill, on the other side of the same hill another section was cleared. You can view it from the rail trail on the Morgantown side. Power lines are already there so I don't have a clue as to what it could be.

Thanks

Sorry for the delay in answering...that's an overland coal belt conveyor system for the Laurita Mining operations..
Cheapest way to transport coal...most are under 25 miles in length..it's a modular concept.
