Any chance there are mutual aid based education programs within the industry that could detail a safety analysis to the emperor? One of these days he might be willing to listen.

I can't help but imagine if american wives of miners were listening to this 'official sign of concern', would they feel compelled to tear him limb from limb? Anyone else getting this impression from these officials, or is this a cultural thing over my head?

The managers of the mine will be lined up and shot through the back of the head...others will be appointed to keep coal production constant and explosion free. (and out of the newspapers)

Don't hear of the UMWA making any stand in China...wonder why?

China? Yes...It is a cultural thing...and strangely their incentives to do better work.
