An FBI security officer who videotaped teenage girls as they undressed and tried on prom gowns at a charity event has been convicted of invasion of privacy.

Thirty-five-year-old Charles Brian Hommema of Buckhannon was sentenced Wednesday to six months in jail, but Marion County Magistrate Hank Middlemas suspended that and imposed a year of probation.

A surveillance camera outside the FBI’s Middletown Mall office was aimed at temporary changing rooms and zoomed in on girls in the Cinderella Project fashion show.

The project offered dresses, shoes and accessories to girls who could not otherwise afford them.
The SOB should be in JAIL right now, big-time!!!

Did he, at least, lost his high-paying job?

Let's set this straight...

The guard was in an adjacient room looking at the girls from an overhead observation camera.

Fairmont's Middletown Mall must have 30/40 of them. The other guard looked for a while but left the observation area.

The job paid $67,000.

The girls were only protected by screens...nothing overhead.

I thought it was a rummage sale of old formal clothing...all I heard was the owners complaining about nobody really showing up to buy their stuff as they loaded their trailers.

A day or so later the place was crawling with suits and FBI people...they had seen the girls video transmission too, from their outpost in Maryland...and the *** was up for the guards.

I doubt is they 'knew anybody...and to me they didn't seem like college graduates at all... ha ha...

anyway, the guards that patrol now look like they might have worked for 'Blackwater...I mean these guys are ninja looking and all serious...for sure.

What's a peeping-tom crime worth?

We're not serious about anybody serving a real sentence...for anything...I mean...murder? maybe 10 years...and this guy certainly had a screw loose to do what he did..

who would get their rocks off watching little teenagers getting dressed..????

When you consider that there are people who commit violent crimes
who only get probation, and the fact that the guy lost his good paying
job, I think jail time for failing to look the other way might be a bit
excessive. And, believe me I'm not a soft touch in terms of criminal
behavior.

I agree with you, Threerun..and I'm glad the FBI has back-up surviellance, never can tell when we might be attacked in Middletown Mall...I can see somebody shooting through the racks of stinky clothing at the Goodwill.
I actually thought that 'rummage sale was a part of their operation...(they google all this stuff....my post has three key words that will trigger a computer program and have somebody read this posting...)

Have a great Holiday

It's possible he was transfered...but somehow I doubt it.

All of their jobs carry a security clearance..a criminal record makes you unqualified for duty.

He's gone...and will be gone from a lot of jobs...as it should be.
