BECKLEY — Raleigh General Hospital announced Friday in a press release that a national search is underway to recruit a new chief executive officer to replace Allen E. Peters who has left the position for health-related reasons.
“We are grateful to Allen for his significant contributions to LifePoint and to RGH during his tenure as CEO,” said Robert Klein, president of LifePoint Hospitals' United Division. “He has been instrumental in preparing the hospital for changes related to health reform and positioning the hospital for future success.”
Peters came to RGH in August 2011 after serving as CEO of Valley View Medical Center in Ft. Mohave, Ariz.
