Actually Martinsburg's channel 60 only their tower and transmitter is located in Martinsburg since every single bit of programming comes out of Northern Virginia now. Come to think of it I remember seeing on www.dcrtv.com some months back where ION has sent an application to the FCC to move that tower and transmitter out of Martinsburg to the same location as Winchester's 92.5 WINC-FM. Oddly neither Martinsburg and/or Berkeley County are fighting this. I guess because channel 60 hasn't been "local" for so long why bother now. Far cry from when Winchester's Q102 radio had tried to buy the same station 15 years ago after both Martinsburg's WEPM/WKMZ and WRNR, even the Martinsburg Journal more/less said "..thanks but no thanks" when they were all offered the old WYVN-TV channel 60.
