My fiance and I would love to get married in or around Harpers Ferry. We're looking to have an indoor reception (no tents) and would prefer an area with a nice view. We'll need a place big enough to accommodate 150 people. Price really isn't an issue. My internet searching hasn't left me with too many options. Thanks for the help.

The Hilltop House overlooking the Potomac in Harpers Ferry is a really cool place. I think it's closed right now, but being renovated. May want to check with them and see if it's gonna reopen.

About Hilltop House

Edit- n/m, I saw on another site where the Hill Top is being recommended for complete demo with a proposal to rebuild a BIG conference type center. Whoo-boy.

Thanks for the suggestions. We looked at the Bavarian Inn, it's just not the feel we were going for, a little too old fashion.

I had looked into Hilltop House, and thought it would be perfect from what I saw online, then I saw that it was going to be torn down. :-/

Well, everything you find in the area will be a little "old fashioned" considering it is a historic area.

And yes, the Hilltop House is going to be demolished. Part of the structure collapsed Wednesday - Losing pieces of history - journal-news.net | News, sports, jobs, community information for Martinsburg - The Journal

I thought of this place; it's right around the corner from me, but you mentioned no tents, so it may not be of interest to you:
