Got an offer to work in Montana today. Looks like the family is packing up and leaving this great state, but moving to another great state. We'll be in the foothills of the Rockies and the move puts us much closer to my wife's family in CO.
Bittersweet, but the Rocky Mtn states have always been close to our hearts, just like these mountains have.
Congrats, threeRun, and best wishes out West. They have some pretty nice parks out that way, I hear... Yellowstone might even be the equal of Blackwater Falls.
You know- it's all beautiful. I'm awestruck every time I drive through Seneca Rocks, or ride the train to the summit at Cass, or even hunt the hills in Hampshire County or the fields in Jefferson County. Yellowstone and Glacier Park are awe inspiring, but you can find the same thing here.
It is truly bittersweet, but this is a good thing.
(and my buddy is going to set me up with a niiiiice care package of sweet mountain memories to take out there, if you get my drift )
