Then why did you reference a slogan that is associated with President Obama? Does it ever get old towing the Republican line so much? I know though, you've told us before...you're a Democrat.
I'm not really sure what you all want. We entered into the worst recession since the Great Depression when George W. Bush was in office. President Obama has been in office for barely a year. Do you want him to wave some magic wand and make it all better? Change doesn't happen overnight. The unemployment rate was in fact much higher in most places when Ronald Reagan (you know, the guy conservatives worship at the altar) was in office. I guess since he was a Republican though then can ignore facts like that.
I don't understand why people complain about not having a job. That's capitalism folks. Socialism, as we all know, is social security, unemployment payments, minimum wage and student loans. If you can't find a job, it means you're either stupid, underskilled or in the wrong place. So, in our capitalist society, you have to ask yourself whose fault that is? If there are no jobs in WV, move but stop expecting those of us who make the right decisions to support you. High five, Republicans!
Oh, I had forgotten that it was a campaign slogan. One does
wonder how long a politician can blame others for current
circumstances though. W had a congress controlled by his
opposition to blame, so I guess the beat goes on in Washington
regardless of who is in office.
The point is our state is overall in dire straights employment
wise. With 15 million Americans unemployed and the number
rising, I look for the national elitist brain trust to do something
to help perpetuate the problem by pushing for an irrational
amnesty for illegal aliens next.
