Hi,
I need to present a scenario for a project (too complicated to explain here what this is for), and need to know where would be the most likely area around Rye where a senior citizen of 80+ years would likely be living if on her own for many years and steadfastly staying in her home? An older neighborhood with older houses, where someone would have lived and raised a family, and is now retired. They have enough savings to support them (perhaps from her deceased husband's retirement or pension) but was never consider upper crust or wealthy.

Any neighborhoods, villages, towns near or in Rye that would be a likely home base for such a scenario? Would be very grateful for links to such a community or a brief description of possible locales. Thanks!
