Hi, has anyone heard of the red maple swamp in the Greenacres area of Scarsdale and whether this causes any mosquito/bug problems in the nearby areas? Thanks for your help.
I think I am being a bit neurotic. There is a nature trail called the Red Maple Swamp that bisects Valley Rd in Greenacres. I am looking into a buying a home in that vicinity and I guess the word, swamp, had me concerned. In any event, I am glad you do not know what I am talkiing about which perhaps means this is a non-issue. Thanks for the reply.
Most of the undeveloped land in Westchester is Red Maple swamp unless it is a rock. Mosquitoes are endemic in Westchester but not out of control (unless you are from a desert).
Well let me know if those Maples ever come down. I can put them to use.
