scarsdale/edgemont school district and commute (property taxes, train station, parking)

Does anyone care to comment on the scarsdale/edgemont school district - i.e., whether they're satisfied with the schools, improvements, advantages, disadvantages. How is the commute into Grand Central Terminal by train? Any parking issues at the train station? Thanks in advance.

Those districts have always had a reputation for having excellent, primo schools. The property taxes reflect that. As for the commute, the train ride isn't so bad but you may have to go on a wait list for a parking space at the train station. It could be a long wait too, from what I understand.

My sister teaches there and she has always commented at how good the schools are. I know that there is some big money in that area and some very demanding parents. So, I would expect nothing less.
