Possible relocation to Westchester. (Yonkers, Vernon: to rent, utilities, taxes)

Hello everyone, I work in white plains, and I currently live in Rockland... I am eyeing a possible move to the area. I am looking to rent a one bedroom, and my maximum is 1400$ including utilities. I also need parking for two vehicle's my car, and a 10 x 10 work truck... Any suggestions of complexes or area's to look into? Not Yonkers as I dont need any more taxes taken out.

I would recommend Mt Vernon (Fleetwood area) very nice area with an urban feel, close to NYC, and the rents are reasonable. Dont believe the stigma about Mt Vernon, some areas are bad but north Mt vernon is a whole other world
