I just got a couple of bids for some lighting fixtures that need to be hard wired. One bid - from the same company I had do the same thing/different room - is $150 more than they charged just 9 months ago. Another company's estimate is less, but based on their quote for other things on my list I had them bid for, I think they are on the high side as well.
I'm getting the sneaky suspicion that the formula used by these guys for 'estimates' is based on how much they 'estimate' they can fool me.
Any recommendations for someone trustworthy in the southern Westchester area?
I have however found an excellent plumber...will gladly exchange recommendations!
