Is it just me or does ALL the NYC TV networks ignore the Hudson Valley in their coverage?

They are always talking about LIRR and have a crew at a station yet Metro-North gets very little talk or mention. They always have crews in LI and NJ yet nobody goes to Northern Westcheser, Putnam, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess.

Seems like we every snowstorm they ALWAYS go to the same areas over and over again.

They always talk about the LIRR and NJ Transit because they are always down. A line operating on schedule is not very newsworthy.

Yeah, I know Metro-North is the best railroad of out the three.

Still like today with the New Haven Line having its problems no media was at a station.

Try News12 if you have cable.....

The reason (not right, but the reason) they ignore is we're a lot smaller part of the metro area than NJ or Long Island.

True, the New Haven line is the worst of the bunch because it is run by the state of CT and not the MTA. On the plus side, though, we didn't get hit with the huge MTA increase.

I wish FiOS had something. They have FiOS1 in LI..

Amazing with all the snowstorms the media hasn't reported from the White Plains train station.

I agree, the storm reports often skip Westchester, the other day I turned on one of the major networks and the weather reports were showing Carlstadt, NJ, and LI, and even CT! I saw one report for New Rochelle, it's ridiculous. I don't even know where Carlstadt, NJ is located (lol)!

The New Haven Line is the worst because the equipment they use is absolutely ancient. Also, the trains in CT run on overhead electrical components that get screwed up significantly in the snow. Almost all NHL trains inbound and outbound yesterday were delayed at least a few minutes.
