Adult Softball Leagues (Somers, Bedford, Lewisboro: live in, assess, office)

I live in Bedford Hills and the Town Of Bedford does not seem to have an adult softball league. Do any of the other towns In Westchester/Lower Putnam/Western Fairfield have a league that non-residents can join, or even something independent I can join? Preferably slow-pitch.

Two I know of are Somers and Lewisboro. I know in Lewisboro you can call the rec office and get your name put on a list for teams that need players.

Ooops, I assumed you meant mens??? Lewisboro has women's also though.

I believe both leagues allow a certain amount of non-residents per team. Not sure if they will take your name on a list if you are out of town but I am sure you can call the rec dept and ask. Lewisboro has 3 divisions, A,B and C. They play at Onatru Park in South Salem Tues - Weds - Thurs, (6:30) so you could stop by and assess if you are really interested. I know there are teams desperate for players because they keep begging my husband to play..

I could have sworn Mt.Kisco had a mens league that plays at Leonard Park.
