Hi,
I need help choosing a town to live in. We are moving from NYC to Westchester. I grew up in Westchester but have always been in private schools. We would like our boys to attend public schools. I would like a "nice" area. I am not concerned about the high school because I would like them to go to a prep HS. We are all over the map here by the way. We are looking at nice places that we can afford which means a coop or condo. We also have a dog so it limits us in coops. We are looking into Dobbs Ferry. Are there geeod schools there?? Are there any "bad" areas in Dobbs Ferry?? lol
For most places in Westchester school are great. Some vary in terms of support for special ed but all in all they are good, including high schools. There are a couple that get bad raps so I think the better question is what districts to avoid rather than what district to look in...
