Buying in Yonkers- What to do in Yonkers (Hudson, Wells: 2014, coop)

I'm in my 20's (female) and looking to buy a coop in Yonkers (colonial heights, beech hill, cedar knolls, northeast areas), mostly because is cheaper; you get lots of space; and its proximity to NYC. Are there any areas in Yonkers with nice coffee shops and restaurants?

The Getty Square area by the Yonkers Metro North Station has undergone an urban renewal with restaurants and coffee shops, these are just a few venues:
Beans and Bulbs, 5 Buena Vista Ave
X20 Xaviars on the Hudson, Water Grant Street
Dolphin Restaurant and Lounge, 1 Van Der Donck St
The Pizza Place, 92 Main St
Full Moon Cafe, 38 Wells Avenue

old thread, but there are no coffee shops in downtown Yonkers, not in 2011 not in 2014.Bars yes, coffee no.
unless the one that was open for a couple hours a day, that doesn't count
