We haven't even moved yet but already buying plane tickets. What are the options to get to JFK, EWR and LGA from Westchester? Is there some kind of regular shuttle that makes the rounds?

You will typically use a car service company. Ask around in your area for reliable ones.

If you're trying to save money and you're alone, take the MNRR to Grand Central. Right outside on 42nd and park is a plethora of van services to all NYC airports.

You either have to park nearby or take a car service. I think something like CT Limo has shuttles but they are more than car service if you have a few people.
Gone are the days of cheap Super Shuttles or Airporters.

Weird...the SF Bay Area is loaded with dozens of shuttle services. And from Marin (which I kinda akin to Westchester) has the Marin Airporter which just goes back and forth all day. I guess it must not make financial sense in Westchester.
Can anyone recommend particular places to park near JFK? Anyone know about how much the car service is from say Mamaroneck to JFK? Just trying to get an idea of options and if it's that much better flying out of JFK when all of our miles are with United!

I think we use Smart Park for JFK, which are around $15 a day with every 7th day free depending on season. As I recall, the car service was about a hundred plus tolls, so we always just park.
It will be a lot higher out of La Guardia. Tickets are generally cheapest from JFK too.

For Laguardia, if you're travelling light, you can take Mtro North to 125th street then take the bus (M60?) that goes to Laguardia. Since I already have a monthly pass for train and subway, I like this option, which feels like it's free, even if it isn't really .

That's only for the Westchester County Airport, not JFK, LGA, or EWR.
I think you're referring to AirLink. That was discontinued. Now you have to take the BL-12.
