Hi, I should have added this to my other post on White Plains schools, but can anyone name some of the top private schools in the White Plains area? Has anyone opted for private school over public schools there? Thanks so much.

Hackley - Tarrytown
Rye Country Day - Rye
Riverdale Country/Horace Mann/Fieldston - all in Riverdale (Bronx)
Rippowam Cisqua - Bedford/Mt. Kisco
Harvey School - Katonah
The Masters School - Dobbs Ferry

You've also got several options in Greenwich/Stamford, CT.

Plus these could be options depending on your background:
French American School - Mamaroneck/Larchmont/Scarsdale
German School - White Plains

Alternatively, by commuting to Manhattan for school, there are less expensive options at the K-4/5 level.

Default private schools white plains

I think you can do a search via insideschools.com or other ratings that may exist online. Otherwise, I would Google "Private Schools Westchester New York." or " Private School Rankings and Ratings New York".
What grade is your child? Privately, I tutor adolescents in math.
Private schools are not obliged to have their students take NYS Regents. I expect some schools may focus on different career paths and content areas. That is becoming common in NYC.
If there is a college that you are focused on after high school, maybe the admissions office could give you a few suggestions for private schools.
