Question for fellow CD posters in the NYC area.
I was doing some net surfing the other day and reading up on Ace Frehley from Kiss.
Wikepedia states he is from Weschester ,NY.
I looked up Westchester but it only highlighted Westchester County.
Is Westchester a city, town, village?
Or is it an unincorporated area?
At any rate I was curious what that area was like.
Is the Westchester area made up of working class families or is it more of an upscale area?
Is the area just your typical suburban type of sprawl area?

Westchester is a county, not a city. Most of it is very upscale, but some of it isn't. Without a town, any other elaboration would be pointless.

Thanks for the input on Wikepedia it states he lives in Westchester so obviously he must keep it under lock and key..
I see your point though the county has 800k or 900k residents.

Just like the other current 61 counties in New York State, Westchester County includes cities (6) and towns (19), and the towns are further sub-divided into villages (6) and numerous hamlets.
Three of the towns and 3 of the villages are organized as coterminous town-villages.
NYS Geographic Glossary may be of some help to you in understanding the geography of New York.

Ace Frehley lives in Chappaqua, if I am not mistaken.
