HI,
Do the elementary schools withn the Mamaroneck school system offer foreign language to students in K-5?
If so, what grade do they begin instruction and what languages are offered?
Thanks

Rye Neck has foreign (Latin, if that can rightly be classified as "foreign" which implies it being a live language) starting in 5th. I can't speak for Mamaroneck UFSD specifically.

Mamaroneck has French, Spanish and Mandarin starting in the 2nd grade, but as I understand it, it is offered as an elective sometime around lunchtime.

It is mandatory from 6th on.

several school districts offer dual language (spanish) program. Is that what you mean or do you mean an elective?
