Well, that's why I came to the forums--to see if I was missing anything. It wasn't that I couldn't/wouldn't drive, I just wanted to find what I'd be in store for if I chose to, and I got alot of helpful info! (The only thing I knew for sure before I got here was #4 lol) People here have provided a good range of opinions/facts, so that's awesome. I appreciate the help.

I'm realistic too, which is why I wanted to educate myself before making any assumptions about this hypothetical commute... Most people have been very helpful here and I'm glad I asked. If the job is actually offered, I'll now be able to make an informed decision.... Thanks to all that helped ...

Yes, but they didn't have UNIONS pre-1900!
