Need to know, how long will it take me to get from Tarrytown, NY to Paramus, NJ if I leave at 4:30 PM?

Going across the Tappan Zee bridge from Tarryown to Paramus is about a 20 mile ride(about 10 from the TZ Br entrance to the Garden State Pkwy and about 10 from the GSP to paramus exits)

If it's during the week, you will have returning- home congestion on the TZ. It's hard for me to say how much extra time that will take because I don't know how much further past the bridge the traffic lingers on for

That trip would normally take me, without traffic say on a weekend, between 20-30 minutes

An associate of mine makes this commute. As long as you can control when you leave, you are looking at 30 minutes without traffic. With traffic? Good luck, LOL.

Seriously, I think you are looking at 45 minutes easy, and an hour wouldn't surprise me. Don't forget, the bridge is big-time traffic, and you can hit traffic just getting to it. Same for when you get over the bridge. Getting to Paramus is going to probably be via the GSP. You will hit traffic from not only the people coming North like you, but also coming South -- and both merge at the GSP.

Once you learn the nuances, you'll be fine. Good luck.
