Mount Tom is great! They have been in establishment within the community for many years and have always had an excellent reputation. My Children attend there and we have had an extremely positive experience. They are flexible with schedules of full and half day (my older does full and my younger does 3 half days). The staff and teachers are wonderful; very loving and nurturing.
The curriculum for the children is outstanding. My little one's class has the typical set up of circle time, story time, etc. but in addition to that, they do foreign language everyday and they do "specials" everyday. The days she attends, she participates in music, movement/dance class, and sign language. My older child goes full days and her class curriculum consists of phonics, science, social studies, math and she also does "specials". In addition to the enriching program they offer daily, you may also sign your child up for special interest classes such as musical instrument, cooking class, soccer etc.
The school has a fantastic playground for the children during recess. If needed, they also do an early drop off and after school program for children until 5pm everyday.
