Traffic ticket plea in Tarrytown (Eastchester: deals, money, island)

Hi, I'm a Long Islander who got caught looking at my phone GPS on I287, got ticket for driving while using portable electronic device. Anyone have any experiences with Tarrytown village court and whether they work plea deals to reduce violation points? Its a bit of a hike on a weekday from LI, trying to figure if worth it to show up and try to work something out or just plead guilty.
Here in Suffolk County, the TVB does not do plea deals.

I can't speak to them, but Eastchester does. Got a ticket for an illegal turn, went to court on my scheduled date, was offered a plea of fine only, no points. Generally, they just want the money assuming you weren't doing anything really bad (and they get more of it when you plea since as I recall you have to pay another fee).
