Hello- Been searching lower Westchester for a full day, part-time preschool / nursery school program. I am looking for a program that will allow participation 2 days per week for the full day (8am - 5pm). I have searched on this forum and found a lot of information about part time programs or full time programs, but unable to find a hybrid. Just wondering if anyone out there may have some info. Thanks in adavnce!

What age group are you looking for? The Montessori Children's Center at Burke has begun offering 2 and 3 day contracts, and they are full day. I think they only have openings in the infant and toddler rooms though, not the 3-6 room. You could always call to find out.

I think your problem is that for full-day, 8-5ish, you need to look into daycares and not pre-schools.

My daughter is 2/12 now. She is in daycare but we would like to have her enrolled in a preschool program. I'll give Burke a call and see what they offer...thanks.

If I recall correctly, Discovering Me Nursery School on Palmer Ave, in Larchmont, offered 2 or 3 day full day options. Not sure if they have openings right now though.
