Advice on choosing a town--the price/schools/commute balance

There are NO ROUGH PARTS in Bronxville / Eastchester. None. These are white bread communities. Some parts of Bronxville border a bit on places like Bronxville PO near Yonkers or Mount Vernon, but generally speaking Bronxville is amongst the wealthiest places in the state. Schools there are tops, almost bar none. Eastchester all of this is true except a little bit less so and Eastchester doesn't really border any sketchy areas, it borders very nice Bronxville and Scarsdale mostly. Bronxville is part of Eastchester, as is Tuckahoe.
