Hi - I was looking at homes in croton-on-hudson, yorktown heights, pound ridge areas and have noticed the relatively low cost of land in some of those areas. I'm a newbie to real estate so before I get started down this road what are the average costs of getting a building permit for a $300 - $400 thousand home? I have looked online for the various townships costs of the permit but they only state that the cost is based on a percentage of the cost of building without actually listing that percentage. Can anyone set me on the right path? Thanks.
