Hello,
does anyone can point a link to a college acceptance list of scarsdale high for recent years? I found one for the edgemont high by searching "Edgemont 2012-2013 Profile final.pub" in Google. But didnot find anything for scarsdale yet,
You'll need a Flash-capable machine, so no iPads, etc., and you'll probably want a big screen for it to be legible, but it's all there.
When I checked the July 2014 issue of the Inquirer I count less than 200 names in the senior class from Scarsdale that disclose where they will be attending college. The senior class size is 350+, so it seems that < 60% of the college acceptances are disclosed. This makes it hard to figure out what % of the class was accepted to schools of interest. The Scarsdale school profile does not list any college acceptances either unlike Edgemont. For those who might be more familiar with the school system, approximately what % of the class do you think goes to Ivy League schools on average? Trying to extrapolate from that to what % might be going to say the Top 15 national and Top 5 liberal arts schools. As a comparison I think that for Millburn High School in Short Hills approx. 10% of the senior class goes to Ivies, so maybe 20% of class goes to really selective colleges. Scarsdale I am aware generally scores higher than Millburn on SATs, not sure if that also translates into better college placements.

Best way to get into Ivies: be born to really smart parents.
