we've seen quite a few places. mainly two family homes which we'd prefer as i have read countless nightmare stories about some of the Avalon, Halstead and other big management run buildings in the area.

we just barely missed out on a great place at the Newport Towers in Harrison so now we're continuing the hunt.

tonight we're going to look at an apartment at "The Hill" in White Plains. i think it was an old reform school that has been redeveloped into a condo. anyone have any info on that?

been using CL and padmapper for my search and really trying to avoid paying broker fees.

thanks all.

Do a google search on "battle hill condos" and you'll get a lot of information (including floor plans). Good luck in your search!

I know someone who lives in the Battle Hill condos. he likes the area a lot he says. Short walk to downtown. And he has plenty of money, and I bring that up only because if he didn't like it there, he would relocate. For what that's worth.

The battle of white plains (1778) took place on that hill.

I wonder how many musket balls are stuck in those hillsides.
