I've spent several years commuting from one of the Rivertowns to Far West Tribeca. I've also commuted from the Upper East Side of Manhattan to Jersey City (near the Grove Street PATH station). I'm now considering a public transit commute from one of the Rivertowns to Jersey City (near the Exchange Place PATH stop). This will probably be a pretty expensive and brutal commute (especially compared to what I have now), and I'm wondering if anyone here has a similar commute. I expect that last leg in to work taking the PATH will become a real drag.
i would imagine it is a god awful commute. i live in dobbs ferry and it is 35-40' just to get to GC.
anything more than that and i would feel like i would have no time outside of work/commuting. and that is no way to live, imho.
