I'm wondering about what it's like to live in Yonkers. I'm seeing some beautiful real estate with river views, sort of near the Glenwood station/Trevor Park. Is that a safe neighborhood? Are there other neighborhoods of Yonkers that you would recommend? Interested mostly in safety, good community vibes, fairly accessible to one of the train stations (side question: do any of the stations have bike racks?).

I haven't been able to find recent information about Yonkers neighborhoods on the forums, so I thought I'd ask to see how the neighborhoods have changed in recent years. Thanks!

If you continue north of Trevor Park, Yonkers is very nice and quiet (especially if you don't have children in the schools).

Look at the 1085/1100 Warburton area (near Greystone): Nice, affordable living, and the Aqueduct is right there for biking. While there are some other decent areas in the city (for instance near Tibbets Park), I think the Greystone area is the best.

+1 for Greystone
