My son's football league is hosting a free one-day football camp run by former NFL player and Westchester (Peekskill HS) player Derek Dennis. The NFL funds these camps all over the country. We got selected to host one this year on the 4th of July. Its a great half day camp. Kids get a free shirt for attending and get to meet and her from a local kid who made it all the way to the NFL. Derek Dennis was hardly an NFL star, as he only played for one season. But he is a huge supporter of youth sports and gives some great advise to young players about discipline and dedication.

The Camp is up at Peekskill HS on July 4. Kids ages 5- 15 are welcome. They are grouped by age at the field. If anyone is interested, here is the information:
