any experience with Thoroughbred Title Services (Houlihan Lawrence)? (insurance, attorney)

Does anyone have experience with Thoroughbred Title Services? They are associated with Houlihan Lawrence and the quoted costs are significantly less than the costs my attorney quoted (which do appear to be standard costs in NY).

I found several articles about how they received approval from NY State Insurance Dept. to reduce title insurance rates by 10 percent below the rate table used by other underwriters in NY, but I can't find any reviews (other than a few old ones on FB that all appear to be from people who work for Houlihan). Any feedback greatly appreciated. Thank you!

We used them due to the discount offered through the attorney. No complaints, but not a lot of experience to compare to since this was our first home purchase. The title transfer process was professional and probably took around 1 hr during the closing.

I got a quote from Thoroughbred that looked good at first. It showed a line by line comparison of how they are cheaper than other title companies . I then got a better quote from Omni Title in long island which is who I ended up using

Always get several quotes. Thoroughbred has never been the cheapest in any property transfer I have been involved in, but it is usually a good price. I have never heard of any problems.
